Refund policy
At Destined To Be Her, we want you to love every piece you purchase. If you’re not completely satisfied with your item, we offer a straightforward returns process, provided the following conditions are met:
Returns

Returns must be processed within 14 days of receipt of your purchase.
- For pre-orders, the 14-day return window begins from the date your item is shipped.
- Security ribbons and tags must remain fully attached, unaltered, and in their original condition. Any tampering, removal, or damage to the ribbon or tag will make the item ineligible for return.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition, with no signs of wear or damage.
- Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable. However, if your return is due to a faulty item or an error on our part, we will either cover the cost of sending a replacement or refund your original shipping charges along with your order.
Return / Restocking Fees at 9%
All returns are subject to a 9% restocking fee based on your order total. This fee, deducted from your refund covers the operational costs associated with returns including:
- Careful inspection and repackaging of returned items.
- Bank and payment provider fees incurred during refunds.
- Shipping and Logistics expenses for transferring returned items from our main office to our off-site inspection and fulfillment office.
For international returns:
Please ensure that all customs duties and taxes are fully paid when sending your return. Any parcels returned to us with unpaid duties or taxes may be held at customs, and unfortunately, we are unable to cover these charges.
We kindly ask that you mark the parcel as “Returned Goods” and state the country of origin as the UK to help avoid any unnecessary fees or delays.
If we are charged any customs fees upon receipt of your return, the amount will be deducted from your final refund.
Exchanges
At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges because we cannot guarantee the item you wish to exchange in stock & ready to ship. If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or style, you will need to:
1. Request a refund for the original item.
2. Place a new order for your desired size or style.
Final Sale
Any item with the security ribbon or tag removed, broken, or altered in any way will be considered final sale and will not be eligible for a return or refund.
Processing a Refund
To request a refund:
1. Email info@destinedtobeher.com with “Refund Request” in the subject line, including your order number in the email.
2. You will receive instructions and the return address within 48 hours.
Important Notes:
- Return shipping costs must be covered by the customer.
- We strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be held responsible for lost parcels.
- We recommend using your local tracked postal service, as it’s often the most cost-effective option.
- Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Items on sale are not eligible for returns & refunds.
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will issue your refund back to the original payment method within 5-10 working days. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund.
